2. RENTAL AGREEMENT
The rental agreement must be completed, dated and signed and returned to us within 3 days.
3. NUMBER OF PEOPLE
The rental agreement mentions the maximum number of people allowed to stay in the accommodation.
4. TAKING UP THE METERS/COUNTERS
A detail of the meter stands will be given to the renter upon handing over of the keys to the accommodation. A detail of the present equipment in the kitchen is available in the accommodation.
5. RENTAL PRICE - DEPOSIT - FINAL PAYMENT
5.1 The rental prices for the accommodations are attached to the contract and are all including VAT.
5.2 Upon receiving your rental demand, a contract will be made up and sent to the renter by email. The deposit of 50% must be made by bank money transfer on the IBAN account number indicated in the email.
It is very important to mention the structured communication as reference on all money transfers. The reservation becomes valid upon reception of the deposit and the signed contract. Attention, for each reservation made on the online system Cubilis, the deposit of 50% (or 100% if the reservation is done less than 30 days before the arrival) will be directly charged from your credit card !
5.3 he final payment of 50% must be made by bank money transfer 30 days before the arrival date.
ATTENTION : the reservation is definitive upon this final payment.
5.4 The reservation and handling fee of 20 € must be paid at the same time as the deposit.
6. COSTS – DAMAGES
6.1 The charges to be paid by the tenant are:
• 6.1.1 The energy consumption (electricity, water, fuel), determined by the meter stands upon arrival and departure - of fixed price
• 6.1.2 The cost of final cleaning (the amount is mentioned in the description of the accommodation, additional charges)
• 6.1.3 The tourist tax of 1,00 € per night, per person
• 6.1.4 Bags of firewood used : 6,00 € / bag
• 6.1.5 The barrels of beer in the accommodations will be invoiced at the price of 105 € per barrel. Each empty or started barrel will thus be invoiced entirely
• 6.1.6 Use of the sauna, hammam, jet shower and jacuzzi (determined by counter)
• 6.1.7 Pet(s): 10€ / pet / stay (maximum 2)
6.2 The renter binds him/herself to keep the accommodation in good condition and is responsible for any damages caused during the stay. All costs of repair or replacement will be charged to the renter..
The warranty as mentioned on the accommodation description must be paid at least ten days before arrival by bank money transfer. This warranty will be refunded after deduction of the costs detailed above, as well as any damages, three weeks after departure. Attention ! The indicated warranty sums are valid for the weekend/midweek or full week stays. For longer rental periods the warranty sum will be augmented. This is in order to cover higher rental costs.
8. HANDING OVER THE KEYS
On the arrival day, the renter must first come to the main office of our park Adventure Valley: Rue de Rome 1, in B-6940 Rome (Durbuy) to receive the keys of the accommodation, only after 4 pm (not earlier).
9. CANCELLATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT
In the case of cancellation of the rental agreement by the renter, the deposit will not be refunded, regardless of the reason of the cancellation. Any cancellation of the rental agreement must be notified in writing immediately (email or letter). In case of cancellation within 30 days of arrival, the full rental fee will not be refunded. Adventure Valley reserves itself the right to cancel any rental agreement at any time in case of unforeseen circumstances. If the payment procedure of the general terms is not respected by the renter, Adventure Valley reserves itself the right to cancel the reservation and to keep any payment already made as compensation.
10. RESPONSIBILITIES - RESPECT OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND NEIGHBOURHOOD
Adventure Valley is not responsible for any damages caused to the inside or outside of the rented accommodation during the stay. Any disturbance of the peace at night is forbidden after 10 pm (police rules). If the renter has caused any problem with the surrounding neighbours, the renter will be denied further access to the accommodation. The rental agreement will become null and void, no pay back of any kind can be claimed.
11. COMPETENT COURT
In case of dispute, only the regional court of Marche-en-Famenne is competent. The renter declares to have read and understood the above mentioned conditions.
