By renting a accommodation, the tenant accepts the general rental conditions listed below.
2. RENTAL AGREEMENT
The customer renter declares to have read the general rental conditions and to accept the special conditions that appear below. Any reservation finalised by clicking on 'book' implies an electronic signature which has the same value as a handwritten signature.
3. LEGALLY PERMITTED CAPACITY OF THE PROPERTY
The guest agrees to respect the maximum legally permitted capacity of the accommodation (including adults, children and babies), as well as the possible prohibition of occupation of the accommodation by groups and/or for unauthorized purposes (see conditions and descriptions of the accommodation on our website).
A detail of the dishware is displayed in the kitchen of each of the accommodations.
5. RENTAL PRICE - DEPOSIT - FINAL PAYMENT
5.1 The rate indicated when booking includes all charges, i.e. water, electricity, heating and final cleaning. The booking and reservation fees (20 €) and the tourist tax (2 €/pp/night) are added to the final price when the reservation is completed. The rental price includes VAT.
The rental price of some gîtes includes the provision of bed linen (see the description on the website).
5.2 The deposit of 30% of the rental price is charged by credit card at the time of booking.
Please note that for bookings via the MEWS system, the 30% deposit (or the total amount if you book within 30 days of arrival) will be charged directly to your credit card.
5.3 The balance, 70% of the rental price, will be taken by credit card 30 days before the arrival date.
ATTENTION: the reservation will be definite after receipt of this balance.
6. ADDITIONAL COSTS - DAMAGES
6.1 The additional costs to be paid by the customer are as follows :
6.1.1 Booking fees 20 €
6.1.2 Tourist tax 2 €/pp/night
6.1.3 Consumed wooden bags: 6,00 € / bag
6.1.4 The barrels of beer in the chalets and gîtes will be charged at a flat rate of 130 € per barrel. Each empty or opened barrel will therefore be fully invoiced.
6.1.5 Use of the sauna, hammam, jet shower and jacuzzi (determined by counter)
6.1.6 Pet(s): 15 € / pet / stay (maximum 1 or 2, depending on the capacity of the gîte/chalet, see our website)
6.2 The renter binds him/herself to keep the accommodation in good condition and is responsible for any damages caused during the stay. All expenses for the repair of damages or the replacement of damaged objects are at the charge of the renter. The costs will be debited from your credit card.
7. HANDING OVER THE KEYS
On the arrival day, the renter must first come to the main office of our park Adventure Valley: Rue de Rome 1, in B-6940 Rome (Durbuy) to receive the keys of the accommodation, only possible after 4 Pm (not earlier).
8. CANCELLATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT
In the case of cancellation of the rental agreement by the renter, the deposit will not be refunded, regardless of the reason of the cancellation. Any cancellation of the rental agreement must be notified in writing immediately (email or letter). In case of cancellation within 30 days of arrival, the full rental fee will not be refunded. Adventure Valley reserves itself the right to cancel any rental agreement at any time in case of unforeseen circumstances. If the payment procedure of the general terms is not respected by the renter, Adventure Valley reserves itself the right to cancel the reservation and to keep any payment already made as compensation.
9. RESPONSIBILITIES - RESPECT OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND NEIGHBOURHOOD
Adventure Valley is not responsible for any damages caused to the inside or outside of the rented accommodation during the stay. Any disturbance of the peace at night is forbidden after 10 Pm (police regulations). If the renter has caused any problem with the surrounding neighbours, the renter will be denied further access to the accommodation. The rental agreement will become null and void, no pay back of any kind can be claimed.
10. COMPETENT TRIBUNAL
In case of dispute, only the courts of the judicial district of Marche-en-Famenne are competent.
