The fox
The fox is a member of the canines family. The fox is one of the biggest predators that still appear free in our regions. The males are normally bigger than the females. The average age is around 12 years.
Foxes always hunt on their own and usually by or just before night, but he likes to hunt during the day but only in areas where there is no disturbance. The fox is an opportunist : he eats almost everything he can find.
He can run very fast until sixty kilometers per hour, but hes normal speed is from six until 30 kilometers per hour.
The wild boar
Boars are very visually impaired, males are named keilers, females are sows and youngs are frislingen. The hair of the boars is very stiff and was used to make paint brushes.
Boars like acorns and beech nuts and they enjoy taking a mud bath, we call that behaviour "zoelen".
